Claudia Güsken joined HOCHBAHN in 2017. She is Director of Labour Relations and is responsible, as a Member of the Management Board, for Human Resources and Operations. She is also Chair of the Human Resources Committee of the “Verband Deutscher Verkehrsunternehmen” (VDV), which is the Association of German Transport Companies.
Claudia Güsken moved to Hamburg back in 2012. She worked for five years at Dataport, an information and communications service provider that serves public administration bodies. As Head of Resources (Finance, Human Resources, Purchasing, Internal IT and Services), she was also responsible, through human resources policy, for shaping the working conditions and general terms of employment of approximately 2,500 employees.
From 2002 onwards, Claudia Güsken also held management positions at Lufthansa CityLine for around ten years. She began as Head of Finance, and went on to become Head of Accounts. She then served as Head of Human Resources for over four years, up until November 2012.
She worked for Buchen UmweltService GmbH (1998-2001) and Moulinex GmbH (1995-1997) as an accountant for a total of six-and-a-half years, and prior to this at Moulinex as a key account assistant (1993-1995).
She began her career as an apprentice in wholesale and export trading, also at the company Moulinex GmbH (1991-1993).
Claudia Güsken was born in 1971 in Dinslaken, in Germany’s Ruhr region.
