Robert Henrich
Robert Henrich is Chairman of Hamburger Hochbahn AG since January 1st, 2024.
As Managing Director of MOIA GmbH, he was previously responsible for the development and operations of Europe’s largest, fully electric ridepooling service. Also, he worked together with Volkswagen AG and Argo AI on future driverless mobility services.
Before that, he was Managing Director of moovel Group GmbH. In this role, he led the development and rollout of an intermodal mobility platform in Europe and North America.
Also, as Managing Director of Daimler Mobility Services GmbH, he was overall responsible for Daimler AG's mobility strategy, including M&A business, company building and scaling.
In 2007, Robert Henrich created the business model of free-floating car sharing. As founding CEO of car2go GmbH, he was in charge of building and scaling the company into a segment leading company in Europe and North America.
Prior to this, he held various positions at Daimler AG and Daimler Financial Services AG.
For many years, Robert Henrich advocates a close collaboration of industry, start-ups, public transport companies, research and politics in order to overcome car dependency and drive forward the mobility turnaround. His work has received numerous awards.
Robert Henrich holds a degree in social sciences. He was born in 1969, is married and has three children.
