Moving Hamburg in an eco-friendly way

Take a closer look at the future of mobility

From the very first U-Bahn line opened back in 1912 to the very first emission-free buses and autonomous vehicles – HOCHBAHN has been moving Hamburg forward for well over 100 years. Our vision of comfortable, superbly networked and environmentally friendly mobility for Hamburg drives us every day and makes us the engine for innovation. Yesterday, today and tomorrow: Find out here all about our current projects including the new U5 line, digital ticketing and Hamburg’s e-buses.

Automation U-Bahn100

Great things are coming to the east of Hamburg. Because our promise is: an underground every 100 seconds! This will be made possible by the automation of the first Hamburg underground lines U2 and U4 in the east of the city. In concrete terms: this means that we will be able to offer our passengers a great deal more in the future.
