How we convince even more people of our offer
Hamburg continues to grow. More and more people are moving to our city. In the coming years, we will reach a population of two million. At the same time, the number of commuters from the surrounding area is also growing. More people also means greater mobility needs. To ensure that Hamburg remains a liveable city for everyone, we are continuing to promote climate-friendly and sustainable mobility. Our goal is to convince more and more people to switch to public transport. We are achieving this by providing comprehensive, reliable and safe mobility that enables people to enjoy a carefree city life.
We are making the success of our work measurable. By 2035, we aim to increase our passenger numbers by 30 per cent (around 150 million more passengers). To this end, we are focusing on five strategic areas of action in which we are actively moving forward and enabling strong and sustainable growth.
